Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?
Tap any WhatsApp button on this website and send us your name, age, mobile number, health concern, preferred date and preferred time. The message opens with those fields already typed, so you only fill in the blanks. Our team confirms your slot as soon as possible.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments are recommended because they keep your waiting time short. Walk-in patients may be accommodated depending on how busy the clinic is that day, so booking ahead on WhatsApp is the safer option.
What are the clinic's consultation hours?
The clinic is open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
Where is Meher Mediclinic located?
We are at Plot No-414, D-23, Ground Floor, Chattarpur Pahari, New Delhi-110074. The clinic is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to climb.
Can I come for a preventive health check-up even if I feel fine?
Yes, and that is exactly when a check-up is most useful. Conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and fatty liver typically cause no symptoms for years. A preventive check-up is designed to find them during that silent period.
Do you provide cancer screening?
Yes. Our preventive oncology clinic offers cancer risk assessment, family history evaluation, and screening for breast, cervical, oral and colorectal cancer, along with tobacco cessation counselling. Screening is advised based on your age, sex and personal risk rather than a fixed list.
Do you treat cancer, or only screen for it?
Our focus is preventive: risk assessment, screening, early detection and counselling. We do not provide cancer treatment such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy or cancer surgery. If a screening finding needs specialist care, we explain what it means and help you reach an appropriate cancer centre without delay.
Is cancer screening painful?
Most screening is straightforward. An oral cancer examination is entirely visual and takes a few minutes. A clinical breast examination is brief. A Pap smear causes mild discomfort for some women but is not usually painful. We explain each step before we do it, and you can stop at any point.
Do I need to fast before a health check-up?
Some tests, including fasting blood sugar and lipid profile, need 8 to 12 hours without food. Water is allowed. When you book, tell us which check-up you want and we will confirm whether fasting is required for your appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your previous medical records, all medicines you currently take (the strips themselves are more reliable than a list from memory), any recent investigation reports, and your health insurance documents if you have them. Arriving 10 to 15 minutes early helps.
Which languages can I consult in?
Consultations are available in Hindi and English.
What is the consultation fee?
Consultation fees are kept affordable. Fees vary depending on whether you are booking a general consultation, a preventive oncology assessment or a health check-up package, so please ask on WhatsApp when you book and we will tell you before you travel.
